This course is designed to give students a broad overview of the many different perspectives from which psychologists try to understand human behavior. By the end of this course, students will be familiar with these perspectives: biological, clinical, cognitive, developmental, personality, social, and abnormal psychology. This course is appropriate for those who are interested in an introductory course for the field of psychology. From a metaphysical perspective students will analyze and assess their own personal psychological status in order to better provide them with an understanding of self and their mind’s consciousness. Students will understand the basics of psychology in order to implement their research and findings from a sociological perspective which is in essence social psychology.
